Pox Siglo Cera (70cl 40.5%) - crb

Pox is a distillate of sugarcane and corn ancestral to Chiapas; it is a very special spirit that originated in Mayan shamanic traditions for ceremonial use. In the Tzotzil language Pox means medicine, cure, and that is how, for centuries, it has been perceived. 

After a short fermentation with selected yeasts in wood, the corn and sugarcane must is double distilled in a copper still, a metal that gives the final product a distinct smoothness.

Interesting neat, ideal mixed, Pox Siglo Cera also lends itself well to maceration to make an ideal liqueur as an aperitif with the simple addition of ice and soda.
