Patrick van Zuidam's great dream has always been to create his own whisky. In 1996 he began the first experiments and only after several improvements was he able to achieve perfection and thus produce the first Dutch whisky on the market: Millstone. The name refers to the Dutch mills with which the grain used for whisky production is ground.
A Dutch whisky produced to the highest standards, which has little to envy from others, many more named, now in a peaty version, very pleasant, with fruity hints, notes of vanilla and toffee and an almost honey-spiced finish.
