It is since 1710 that the Assier family, which moved from Montpellier to Martinique, has been producing agricultural rum of the highest quality. The entire production cycle takes place within the family estate, from the cultivation of sugar cane, Bleu quality and Violet quality, which is done without any use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemical agents, to the distillation in copper Charentais stills that, with a slow process, allows obtaining a strongly aromatic spirit; then the rhum produced in small quantities is aged in ex-cognac barrels that refine it by enhancing its aromas.

Always seeking innovation, concerned about the environment and eager to bring a new taste experience, the A1710 distillery came up with the "La Perle Rare" cuvée.
La Perle Rare is made from organic cane (ECOCERT certified) located at the Habitation du Simon, in the heart of the farm and in close proximity to its rhumerie.
