GRAPE VARIETIES Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana).
ZONE OF

San Benedetto di Lugana, south of Lake
Garda. The grapes come from estate vineyards,
particularly suited to the production of Lugana
for its high content of white clay.

CULTIVATION
Double Guyot.
YIELD 80 q/Ha
HARVEST The harvest and selection take place
strictly by hand; the grapes are placed
in small 17-kg crates. Late harvest in
October.
METHOD OF
PRODUCTION
Gentle, soft whole cluster crushing
for much of the production, the remainder
with light destemming by oscillation. In
following, a strict protocol is applied
of vinification: malolactic fermentation
partial, 18-month aging on fine lees,
which takes place for the most part in steel and the
remainder in barrels and barriques.
DESCRIPTION

immediately with hints of citrus, flowers
whites and elegant mineral notes. The palate is rich,
structured and complex with enveloping hints
minerals, hints of flint and hydrocarbons.
Lingering finish. Delicate evolution, thought
to longevity.
PAIRINGS
SUGGESTED
Ideal with fish dishes from the lake and the
sea, it also goes well with savory or fatty meats.
Interesting with aged or blue cheeses
and with elaborate first courses.
