GEWÜRZTRAMINER SANCT VALENTIN
The fascinating Gewürztraminer is certainly one of the most memorable varieties on the world wine scene. Since 1986, it has been recognised as the characteristic wine of the line with its aromatic indigenous grapes. Gewürztraminer Sanct Valentin is characterised by its intense and complex bouquet, rich in fruity and spicy aromas. It is characterised by pleasantness and guarantees enchanting drinking even after many years.
AURATUS Gewürztraminer
This Gewürztraminer is characterised by a typical bright golden yellow colour, an intense and pronounced bouquet of roses and lychees as well as discreet spicy notes of cinnamon and clove. It is full-bodied on the palate with a typically robust body and a juicy, elegant structure.
Growing area: Our Gewürztraminer AURATUS grows at its place of origin in Tramin on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. In a sun-exposed area in the hamlet of Ronchi near Tramin, we exploit ideal conditions for the production of these grapes. The vines grow at 320 - 400 metres above sea level on clay and sandy soils.
Vinification: The fully ripe and selected grapes undergo a cold maceration of about seven hours before pressing. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 20°C and maturation on yeasts give this Gewürztraminer its special note.
GEWÜRZTRAMINER RESERVE RUTTER
Gewürztraminer 'Rutter' comes from a selected vineyard and presents itself with a golden yellow colour, notes of roses and exotic fruits. This harmonious and aromatically persistent wine only reaches its full development after several months of maturation in the bottle.
After a maceration period of about six hours before pressing, fermentation takes place in steel barrels at a controlled temperature of 18° C. Maturation of taste and aroma on yeasts.
Ideal with aromatic cheeses, Asian recipes, grilled or fried fish and shellfish.
