DESCRIPTION

A Supertuscan that perfectly integrates the best traditions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with the territory of Montalcino.

TECHNICAL NOTES

Soil: moderately sloping areas on which clayey sediments develop with pebbles and stones of calcareous and arenaceous nature.

Training system : spurred cordon

Planting density : 4200 cp/ha.

Yield per hectare : 60 q/ha.

VARIETY

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon

METHOD OF PRODUCTION

Fermentation : temperature-controlled (25-30°) in combined steel and Horizon French oak vats

Ageing : in 350-litre French oak barrels for 18 months

THE WINEMAKER'S COMMENT

An intense wine with very fruity hints accompanied by more complex notes of jam, spices, tobacco and coffee. In the mouth, it shows all its impressiveness, with sweet tannins and very persistent hints.
