PROCESSING AND DISTILLATION:
Pilzer's Apricot Brandy is made from top-quality fruit grown on the slopes of Vesuvius, an area with a very long tradition of cultivation of this fruit. The apricot is considered one of the most difficult fruits to distil due to its great delicacy. Once the fruit is perfectly ripe, the stone is removed and prepared into a puree. After the fermentation period, the puree is ready to be distilled in the discontinuous bain-marie still. The spirit produced is stored for a period of over a year in steel tanks before being bottled.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Crystal clear in colour, the Apricot Brandy has a delicate and fragrant aroma, with an alcoholic note that pleasantly enhances the aromas of the fruit. The taste is fully reminiscent of fresh, ripe fruit, with a pleasant persistence.
TASTING RECOMMENDATIONS:
Serving temperature 16 °C. Store in a cool, dark place.
