George Willsher was a man who could hardly conform to norms and rules. He thought and acted differently and was not afraid to take risks and go against those who suggested he act differently. The idea for Black Bull came while he was in his liquor store in Dundee in 1864. What he wanted to create was a bold and different whiskey, a blend with a high malt content, a true highlander with a great pedigree.
While everyone else was trying to conform to a certain style, George Willsher decided to create something different.
Black Bull 21 is a whiskey full of joy, energy and has a penchant for good times. It is a blend of malts primarily from the Highlands with a touch of Speyside and Islay to add finesse and elegance. 55% malt and 50% bottled.
