Cork is known and renowned worldwide as the city where the whiskey culture in Ireland was born. West Cork Distillers is located in Skibbereen, in the heart of West Cork, which is considered one of the most beautiful regions in the world and is also particularly famous and appreciated for its many typically Irish gastronomic artisan productions. Founded in 2008 by three friends with a passion for deep-sea fishing, West Cork Distillers is now one of Ireland's rare independent distilleries, which has produced whiskey of more than excellent quality since its origins.

A unique collection of Single Malt Irish whiskeys distilled in small stills from exclusively Irish malted barley and cut with water from the local mountain, Mullaghmesha. They are initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels. This release then ages in ex-Port casks from Quinta de Boeira in the upper Douro area, which give it soft notes of dried fruit, so typical of the precious Port wine. A meditative whiskey, ideal on autumn evenings when the first chill creeps into the still summery weather.
