Cork is known and renowned worldwide as the city where the Whiskey culture in Ireland was born. West Cork Distillers is located in Skibbereen, in the heart of West Cork, considered one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Founded in 2008 by three friends with a passion for deep-sea fishing, West Cork Distillers is now one of Ireland's rare independent distilleries, which has produced Whiskey of more than excellent quality since its origins. West Cork Distillers is the southernmost distillery located in the Atlantic Archipelago, a location that provides a unique meso-thermal microclimate for which West Cork is famous and which is ideal for aging Irish Whiskey. All milling, fermentation and distillation equipment has been handcrafted on site by the West Cork team. Whiskeys produced undergo triple distillation in traditional Irish pot-stills filled only halfway in order to allow maximum interaction between copper and steam, key to the quality production of Irish Whiskeys. Extreme attention is also paid to raw materials with barley and wheat grown only in Ireland and the use of pure spring water.

Blended Irish Whiskey containing 66% Grain and 33& Malt Whiskey. It ages patiently in first-pass bourbon barrels and then undergoes an additional 6-month aging in spent Irish Whiskey barrels.
