It is since 1710 that the Assier family, which moved from Montpellier to Martinique, has been producing agricultural rum of the highest quality. The entire production cycle takes place within the family estate, from the cultivation of sugar cane, Bleu quality and Violet quality, which takes place without any use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals, to distillation in copper Charentais stills.
A slow process that results in a strongly aromatic spirit. Subsequently, the rhums produced in small quantities are aged in ex-cognac barrels that refine it while enhancing its aromas.
The challenge that Stéphanie Martin - House Cellar Master - had to meet in creating this cuvée A1710 Renaissance, was to achieve the perfect balance between freshness, complexity, lightness and power: a rum intended to be enjoyed as well as an aperitif or digestif.
