It is since 1710 that the Assier family, which moved from Montpellier to Martinique, has been producing agricultural rum of the highest quality. The entire production cycle takes place within the family estate, from the cultivation of sugarcane, Bleu quality and Violet quality, which is done without any use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemical agents, to distillation in copper Charentais stills that, with a slow process, allows to obtain a strongly aromatic spirit; then the rhum produced in small quantities is aged in ex-cognac barrels that refine it by enhancing its aromas.
A1710 La Perle is a white rum from pure cane juice, distilled in a copper still after a five-day fermentation.
