CHARACTERISTICS

A pure cabernet franc, it owes its name to Arca Aurita, the fossil shell of marine origin present for millions of years in the Estate's soils, which gives this wine a persuasive minerality. It is the flagship wine of Podernovo, the Lunelli family's estate on the Tuscan coast certified organic since 2012.

Luminous and deep ruby red.

Excellent and deep intensity that increases with oxygenation in the glass. Memories of cocoa powder, blackcurrant jam and rosemary are the prelude to delicate spicy and balsamic hints.

The structure is solid and elegant, emphasising soft, finely textured tannins. In the long finish, the intense savouriness donated by the fossil component of the estate's soil can be found.
