CHARACTERISTICS

A Tuscan red wine with a strong Mediterranean vocation and Bordeaux suggestions. Fruit of the selection of the best grapes from the vineyards of Podernovo, the estate owned by the Lunelli family on the Pisan Hills and certified organic since 2012.

A bright, ruby-red colour with good chromatic concentration.

The nose immediately denotes great cleanliness of aromas that have dark fruit as their most important component: mulberry and coffee beans are recognisable. With oxygenation in the glass, the fruit gradually becomes sweeter and riper, with sensations of dark cherries and dehydrated plums. A balsamic touch accompanies and enriches an articulate and intriguing olfactory complexity.

On the palate the wine proves to be endowed with excellent taste balance and is characterised by fine and elegant tannins. In the closing of the mouth the notes of dark macerated fruit re-emerge accompanied by a slight spiciness.
