Distillery Collection individually reveals the spirits behind the renowned Diplomático Rums. With the distinctive personality of each rum shown at its best in one-of-a-kind products, this limited edition allows fine spirits enthusiasts to discover the pure essence of Diplomático's different distillation styles.

Made from high-quality sugar cane molasses, Distillery Collection N°2 is aged in American oak barrels until it reaches optimal maturity. The Barbet Column, a discontinuous still of French origin, was brought to La Miel Distillery in 1959. This distillation system consists of two columns both made of copper: the Aldehyde Column, where unwanted elements are separated from the rest of the liquid, and the Rectifying Column, where congeners are separated and only the desired elements are retained, such as esters and aldehydes. This rectifying system is not found in other traditional column extraction systems. Unique in its design, it gives the distillate its characteristic organoleptic profile.
