Umeshu is the traditional sake liqueur made from Kishu plums harvested at the peak of ripeness (kanjuku in Japanese means precisely "peak of ripeness"). In this version, the greater amount of sake contained lowers the alcohol content while maintaining the typical harmony between smoothness and acidity of Kishu plum.
