Pinot Grigio Riserva Giatl

Origin: This wine of character comes from the extraordinary vineyards

located in the Giatl area. These are enhanced by the presence of vines

planted at high density with selected Pinot Grigio clones. Favoured by

optimal conditions, this extraordinary Pinot Grigio originates and reaches

ripens on the calcareous and sandy soils of the plain around the town of

Cortina s.s.d.v. The favourable microclimate, characterised by an

ideal irradiation of the area, and the perfect aeration of the grapes thanks

to the Ora that blows daily, determine the exceptional quality of the

grapes of this elegant vine and extraordinary representative of the

Pinot family.

Pinot Grigio PENON

In order to fulfil the enormous potential of this grape variety, in addition to the excellent location, consistent viticulture with greatly reduced yields is required. In the village of Penone, situated between 450 and 700 m asl.

lm, the yield is greatly reduced by nature. Thanks to the altitude and the permeable dolomitic limestone soil, an elegant yet structured wine is produced. As a result of the long maturation, PENON develops a dense body as well as stimulating acidity and a robust structure. The bouquet is very complex and is reminiscent of yellow peach, old pear varieties and melon. A wine that demonstrates all the capabilities of Pinot Grigio.
