In the Piedmontese ampelographic panorama, Barbera is certainly the variety that stands out most in terms of its gastronomic profile. Vinification in steel containers reinforces the characteristics of the variety, accelerating its sense of freshness and olfactory fragrance. In the glass, the wine emerges for its beautiful ruby colour, with violet reflections, and for the recognisability of the fruit, crisp and succulent. Its restrained tannin and incisive acidity make it the perfect Barbera when paired with food and wine, and allow it to curb even the most exuberant, flavoursome and fatty dishes.
