Gaja is not 'only' Barberesco and Barolo, but also represents excellence in the field of spirits, incredibly sublime labels with an unmistakable flavour. Gaja grappas are produced in the Cooperative Distillery of Barbaresco founded in 1980.
They are produced by distilling fresh pomace that after fermentation, still juicy and soft, is prepared for distillation, which is done very slowly and using a discontinuous type still.
The distillate obtained has an alcohol content varying between 70 and 75% vol. and is then diluted with distilled water to the gradation stated on the label. It is then bottled and put on the market.
A prestigious label, a white grappa with a crystal-clear colour and a full, decisive flavour. Refined and satisfying to the palate, it is an unmissable bottle for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
