Franciacorta Satèn D.o.c.g. -Cantina Romantica

The Franciacorta Satèn by Romantica remains impressed in the memory thanks to its elegance and extraordinary finesse. The lower pressure in the bottle, foreseen by the production regulations, makes it appear with a soft foam and a delicate perlage. It gives the palate countless emotions reminiscent of the delicate sensations of silk. The nose suggests floral, spicy and dried fruit notes. A small percentage of the bases used to create Satèn Romantica are aged in French oak barriques. This passage gives longevity to our Franciacorta. A longevity also guaranteed by the long aging on yeasts in the bottle (about 30 months).

Franciacorta Wine

Grape: 100% Chardonnay
Production area: Franciacorta vineyard. Romantic - Passirano, Brescia.
Harvest period: Second decade of August
Vinification: Soft pressing of the bunches and separation of the must. Fermentation of the bases in stainless steel tanks and only a small part in barriques. Aged on the lees in the bottle for about 30 months.
Colour: Straw yellow with golden hues
Bouquet: The nose offers gentle floral and dried fruit notes.
Taste: In the mouth, savouriness and freshness harmonize with an innate softness reminiscent of the delicate sensations of silk.
Tasting temperature: 5-7°C
Matching: Ideal as an aperitif it goes perfectly with delicate first courses, vegetables or shellfish.
