Production area: Municipalities of Diano d'Alba, in the locality of Bric, and Serralunga d'Alba, in the locality of Barbiasco
Soil: soils rich in clayey, compact marls mixed with calcareous marls
Harvest: Manual
Vinification: Maceration with the skins in steel vats at controlled temperature for 6-8 days, then racking off and completion of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel (around 20 days) where, keeping the temperature controlled, malolactic fermentation also takes place. Maturation continues in stainless steel for several months, until the following summer, when it is bottled without filtering or clarification.
Colour: intense ruby red with purple notes
Nose: Fruity, fresh, with young, appealing notes of red fruits with a predominance of sour cherry and plum
Taste: Well-balanced flavour with light acidulous notes typical of the variety and well-expressed minerality with a delicate savoury finish
