Production Area: San Quirino (PN) - Friuli Venezia Giulia
Soil: flat area consisting of the alluvial cone of the Cellina torrent. It is a thick mattress of alluvial sediments of calcareous-dolomitic nature of fluvioglacial origin located at the foot of the Dolomites.
Vinification: after a light pressing, the grapes are left to macerate in stainless steel tanks for 5-8 days, during which continuous operations are carried out to completely extract the noble polyphenols from the skin. During the alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation is also carried out. The maceration temperature is kept deliberately low in order not to lose the fruity notes.
Ageing: maturation in steel tanks at constant temperature until bottling
Colour: intense red with violet reflections
Scent: slightly herbaceous, vinous, with hints of raspberry
Taste: harmonious, with delicate tannins
