Production Area: Mariano del Friuli - DOC Isonzo del Friuli
Soil: dry and warm, of medium texture: composed of the stones of the river Isonzo and noble clays.
Grape harvest: manual
Vinification: long maceration at controlled temperatures and frequent pumping over to favour tannic and anthocyanic extraction from the skins.
Ageing: after racking, it remains for 24 months in French barriques for the first time.
Bottling: without filtration
Colour: dark ruby red, bright and consistent
Perfume: intense and wide, reminiscent of ripe black cherry, geranium, chocolate, vanilla, toasted, undergrowth and leather: all pleasant and elegant scents.
Taste: in the mouth it gives the best of itself, it is dry, soft, fresh, with a very pleasant tannin and the right flavor. It is a persistent wine, with a fruity and toasty finish.
