The collaboration between Villa de Varda Grappa, which has been distilling grappa in Trentino for six generations, and the Jose Quevedo family of Aldea, which distills rum on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, resulted in this exceptional project.
Grappa Riserva Rum Cask matured for a long period in our new barrels and completed its aging with a second passage in the barrels previously used for "Aldea" rum.
This combination of grappa and rum gives the distillate great complexity, smoothness and elegance.
