Genever Otenba (50cl 40%) - crb

Genever Otenba is a juniper-flavored distillate made in Amsterdam. Created by Monique ten Kortenaar, former distiller at Lucas Bols and Wynand Fockink, it is described as "a kind of gin, a kind of genever." Indeed, at the base of Otenba Genever we find barley, rye, and corn as in traditional versions, but what makes it more like a modern gin are the botanicals, including pandan leaves, sencha tea, lemongrass, orange blossom, and sansho pepper, which impart an oriental flavor.
