Gin Whitley Neill Rhubarb and Ginger (70cl 43%) - crb

While most of Johnny Neill's gin recipes were inspired by the intrepid foreign travels of his ancestor Frederick Neill, that of the Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin is inspired by closer, family memories. After the war, in fact, the Whitley family, now settled in rural England near Daresbury, cultivated their own garden with various herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, which they used both at the table and in their experimentation with new gins. This gin thus evokes Johnny's childhood memories of visiting his grandparents on their farm where this beautiful cultivated garden grew.
