Death's Door Gin is an American dry organic vintage gin made on Washington Island in Wisconsin from local raw material. Only three botanicals are used: wild juniper berries, coriander, and fennel seed. The limited number of botanicals allows for maximum enhancement of the base spirit. The recipe then calls for corn, wheat and barley, which add the hint of malt. The production technique used, called "one shot," in fact involves a single distillation and a correction, through successive cuts, of the final product.
