Casa Corralejo was founded in 1775 by Don Pedro Sanchez de Tagle. To visit the distillery in the state of Guanajuato is to step into Mexico's past with the structure of the building still bearing the old original decorations. Everything is surrounded by plantations of Weber Blue, the most valuable type of agave grown surrounded by lemon trees. Hence its characteristic citric notes. Gran Anejo is the exclusive reserve created at Casa Corrlaejo aged in oak barrels for at least two years. A truly exceptional tequila.
