  • Since its founding in 2005, Wemyss Malts has been run independently by William and Isabella Wemyss, a brother and sister with a passion for quality drinking.
  • Enthusiastic and inspired by time spent with experienced winemakers in the south of France, William Wemyss wanted to return home to create bold Scotch whiskies with a strong personality. Together with his sister Isabella, gifted with an exceptional sense of smell and eye for high-quality raw materials, he began sourcing exquisite single malts from Scotland and the finest oak casks from around the world.
  • Expertly assembled, their team of whiskey industry experts is practically a second family, or rather, an extended family. Among them is whiskey writer Charlie Maclean. The hallmark of this company certainly lies in its ability to know how to create exclusive and iconic blends: in fact, the production process begins with sourcing mature single malt whisky from different Scottish distilleries. This gives them the ability to create, from exceptional raw materials and a jealously guarded basic recipe, unique products with complex flavors.
  • Weymyss Spice King is a complex malt whiskey, rich in sensory levels and with a spicy flavor profile. Overall sweet, it peeks out a salty note, then several hints of spice and peppery smoke that make it an interesting alternative to spiced rum.
