The Speyburn distillery was established in 1897 just outside the small village of Rothes, nestled in the heart of the Speyside region. The only distillery to use the pure, clear water of the Granty Burn, a tributary of the Spey River, Speyburn combines its expertise with the most traditional production processes in crafting bold, bright single malts full of character worthy of Speyside's vitality. Proud of its past but always with an eye for innovation, the distillery approaches each challenge with the same spirit as the people who built it more than a century ago.
A Gaelic term for 'Golden Salmon,' Bradan Orach is a classic and cozy Speyside whiskey matured exclusively in ex-bourbon American oak casks. This brilliant single malt was named in honor of the world-class salmon fishing practiced right on the Spey River.
