Floki, the only whiskey produced in Iceland, is a handcrafted single malt made from 100% Icelandic barley. The unique taste comes from this very raw material that grows slowly and hard through the volcanic soil of the Arctic Circle.

Birch, birch in English, is a hardy tree that has managed to survive the harsh climate of the island of ice and fire. That is why it is almost the only wood species used in Iceland to build artifacts, including traditional barrels. This Eimverk Distillery release, initially aged in first-pass American oak barrels, is aged in Icelandic birch casks, which give it a deeply Nordic character.
