Iceland is much more than ice and fire; the forces of nature have painted a magnificent tapestry of colors with geological phenomena unparalleled in the world. And while the cruel climate is a challenge for even the greatest warriors, it nevertheless offers the land great opportunities. An exceptional land that provides raw materials with unique aromas and flavors.

Flóki, the only whiskey produced in Iceland, is a handcrafted single malt made from 100% Icelandic barley. The unique taste comes from this very raw material that grows slowly and hard through the volcanic soil of the Arctic Circle. Thanks to the cold climate, there is no need for pesticides or artificial fertilizers, consequently the barley is grown in a totally natural way. In addition, the Icelandic grain has a low sugar content, resulting in the use of 50 percent more barley, marking even more of Flóki's distinctive flavor. Distilled using specially constructed pot stills to extract all the aromas and flavors of the Icelandic raw material. Flóki 1st Impression is a unique malt with a mix of characteristics one would expect to find in a Bourbon, Irish Whiskey and Highland Single Malt.
