Before long, the product became one of the most sought-after spirits in Ireland, and to keep up with demand, the McConnells built a distillery, a vast and bustling complex on the banks of the Lagan River.

McConnell's is one of the oldest brands of Irish whiskey ever recorded, nn as well as one of the most celebrated.

McConnell's fine blend of Irish malt and grain whiskey is gently matured for five years in select bourbon casks, which give it beautiful nuances of vanilla sweetness.
