Santísima Trinidad rums are made, as required by Cuban tradition, with aguardiente liqueur. It is this expedient that gives the rum produced on the island a stronger and more defined character than others produced elsewhere. The aguardiente used, which is of exceptional quality and obtained from selected molasses, undergoes a long aging and purification process, which contributes to giving Santísima Trinidad rum a more delicate and subtle organoleptic profile than average.

Santísima Trinidad de Cuba 15 years ages and refines in American white oak barrels, achieving a delicate complexity that makes it one of the most appreciable Cuban-style rums.
