Calvados Charles De Granville 25 ANS ( 70cl 40%) - crb

Legend has it that Charles, a young Breton orphan, was hired as a galley boy by a private shipowner during the reign of Louis XIV; he thus decided to bring aboard both the cider he produced and his distillate, which the crew adored in equal measure. So it was that, after years of service in the navy, Charles was awarded the title De Granville, and he devoted himself entirely to perfecting his distillates. 

A Calvados with more than 25 years of aging presents itself as a spirit of great elegance and remarkable complexity, thanks in part to the massive tertiaries of wood that both embellish it as a great distillate and deplete it of distinctive apple notes. A meditation drink of the highest order
