If there is one plot of land that we can consider the absolute flagship of the municipality of Barbaresco, it is Asili.

For us it is a place of particular symbolic value, having been the first piece of a vineyard park that, in the very early 1970s, we were about to compose.

Here, at the top of the hill, we have a parcel of very small size, with multiple exposures and limited productivity. The expression of Nebbiolo we get from it is glued to the terroir and at the same time draws an original profile. Our Asili expresses itself in an unambiguous manner but does not shatter expectations or erase references, it does not contravene the canons of mention, it interprets them. The wine is a concentrate of aromatic lightness and sobriety. The nose is spicy, deep and tapering: it is an ode to blood orange, dog rose, and small, crunchy fruits. In the mouth it is monumental, accompanied by prodigious tannin and great acidity: elements that are the basis of its proverbial capacity for ageing.
