AGING: passages in six types of small barrels of different woods.

BOTTLES USED: barrel n.1264 and n.1216

TASTING: Prolonged ageing gives this selected grappa reserve a unique sensory imprint. Its exceptionally rich colour heralds that aromatic power and smoothness that are later found during tasting. The barrel has exceptionally developed spicy aromas with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown tobacco, from aniseed to liquorice. These initial sensations accompany and then unveil further fruity aromas of jam, baked apple, prune, almond and walnut. Then again a floral hint of honey, all in an extremely frank ensemble.

BOTTLES PRODUCED: from barrel no. 1264 n.783 bottles and from barrel no. 1216 n.596 bottles.

PACKAGING: all bottles, strictly numbered by hand, are presented in an elegant oak box, which gives the packaging a sober touch.
