Inspired by a recipe dating back to 1903, East Imperial Tonic Waters are produced in small batches with all natural ingredients sourced from Asia and Africa, water from New Zealand, and a cold-fill process. This traditional production method ensures that the freshness and nuances of the botanicals are protected, returning the tonic water to its origins. The hand-harvesting of the cinchona used by East Imperial originates from Java. It takes seven years for cincona trees to grow. The scraping, air drying, smoking and harvesting process is then accomplished in an additional seventeen days. This is the time it takes to put the best tonic water in your glass.
