Distilled Style
This grappa from the renowned Veneto winery Allegrini comes from the use of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara pomace previously used in the genesis of one of Italy's greatest wines, Amarone. The pomace is pressed immediately after racking and then distillation takes place in copper stills. Aging requires a rest of about 12 months in oak barrels so that this grappa acquires all its organoleptic peculiarities.
Characteristics of this grappa
It has an amber color with mahogany highlights that may vary depending on aging. The olfactory profile takes the form of a range of fruity notes, chocolate and raisins. On the palate it is velvety, with good persistence.
Tasting advice.
Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C in tall tulip-shaped goblet, to best enjoy the olfactory bouquet
