Moscato Giallo is part of the large Moscato family, most probably originating from the eastern Mediterranean and arriving in Italy through the trade of Venetian merchants. Quite different from Moscato Bianco and Moscato di Alessandria, Moscato Giallo is widespread above all in Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli: an early-ripening variety, in the Trentino tradition it is proposed as a fresh and very fragrant wine, with an aromaticity compensated by a fragrant savouriness and delicate sweetness.
