Rum Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 12 was born from a complex synthesis of the great aguardientes of the Santiago de Cuba winery.
The quality that distinguishes this Santiago de Cuba Rum represented by the traditional method of rum making by the Master Roneros.
Aging is natural and is done in very old selected white oak barrels, some in use for more than 70 years.
The result is a blend that traces the tradition of Cuban Ron Ligiero.
In this Limited Reserve, tradition blends with technology to deliver unparalleled quality.
Tasting Notes.
Appearance: dark amber, bright.
Nose: round and full, with notes of caramel and vanilla accompanying hints of citrus marmalade and dehydrated fruit.
Palate: dry but smooth and pleasant on the palate. Initial hints of almond and dried fruit give way to pleasant, round aromas of ripe tropical fruit.
Finish: rather long and dry, evolving on notes of caramel and tropical fruit.
Alcohol content 40%.
