Soil: more than 10 years old vineyard, in its prime, situated at 250m asl on soil of glacial origin and calcareous and siliceous composition
Harvest: manual
Vinification: shortly after destemming, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak conical vats. It is then racked into small French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place for over 20 days, giving the wine an almost velvety texture.
Ageing: the wine matures for more than 10 months in the same small oak barrels where malolactic fermentation took place shortly before. The wine is then racked into steel tanks where it remains until bottling. Finally, it concludes its ageing with a few months in the bottle.
Colour: delicate ruby red
Nose: refined with hints of raspberry and cranberry, accompanied by a slightly spicy touch of vanilla and nutmeg
Taste: elegant, round and enveloping palate with notes of red fruit and spices, soft and perfectly integrated tannins. Round, harmonious and persistent finish
