Zirbel - Swiss stone pine

Stone pine liqueur made from South Tyrolean stone pine, a typical taste. Original from Roner, Italy's most awarded distillery. Produced in Tramin on the Wine Road.

In summer, at altitudes above 1500 metres, the pine cones of the Swiss stone pine ripen and are carefully harvested by hand.

The pine cones, red in colour and rich in sap, are chopped up and steeped in Roner schnapps. Thus the Zirbel - stone pine liqueur - obtains its typical spicy and resinous aroma.

Perfect with robust cheeses.

Ideal as a digestive or with game.
