"Crafting the New Luxury" is the ambitious mission of this company, which wants to become a world leader in the production of high-quality sustainable spirits.

Cacao Éthique is an excellent example of this approach. It uses kasutori shochu, a kind of shochu distilled from the spent lees obtained when making sake, as its base. The shochu is from the Hiraizumi of Akita.

The cocoa in the name refers to their use of cocoa husks as the only botanical along with juniper. So it is a gin made from by-product upon by-product. Those come from Whosecacao , developing relationships between cocoa farmers in Southeast Asia and confectionery manufacturers in Japan.
