It is since 1710 that the Assier family, which moved from Montpellier to Martinique, has been producing agricultural rum of the highest quality. The entire production cycle takes place within the family estate, from the cultivation of sugar cane, Bleu quality and Violet quality, which is done without any use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemical agents, to the distillation in copper Charentais stills that, with a slow process, allows to obtain a strongly aromatic spirit; then the rhum produced in small quantities is aged in ex-cognac barrels that refine it by enhancing its aromas.
The cuvée A1710 La Perle Brute 66° "Cannes by Monsieur Paul Octave" is an agricultural white rum from a distillation without reduction, carried out in a copper still equipped with a 7-dish column, called "La Belle Aline." It was awarded Best White Farm Rum by the Caribbean Journal's The Rhum Award 2018.
