The star of the gin is the distilled heather extract, which gives Z44 Special Edition its floral character. Like the stone pine, heather grows luxuriantly in Alpine areas and in spring its deep pink blossom is a spectacle.

The scent of heather is simultaneously intense with floral notes, dry and invigorating.

The floral note of heather perfectly complements the other botanicals in our Z44 gin, presenting the drinker with yet another facet of Alpine heritage.

The stone pine represents the harsh and rough nature of the mountains, dominant and uncompromising, while the heather blossoms with their delicate floral and herbaceous notes present the hidden splendour of the high-altitude pastures and meadows.

Together they create a complete and innovative taste experience that is complemented and rounded off by the citrusy hints of bergamot.
