Le Diciotto Lune
Grappa Stravecchia, a symbol of culture, devotion and the art of distilling. Grappa Stravecchia is created by distilling five Trentino marcs, such as Marzemino, Teroldego, Merlot, Muscat and Chardonnay, which are heated in a water bath and then pass through distilling flasks that are not connected in series. It matures in small barrels of cherry wood, ash, oak and robinia, which give the distillate its characteristic scent, aroma, colour and taste.
The duration of the maturing process reflects the rhythms of nature: 18 months pass from moon to moon. The fragrance becomes intense, ethereal and harmonious. The taste loses the initial brittle and rounds off to leave a pleasant silky feeling on the palate. The colour acquires a warm amber tone. The master distiller accompanies the maturing to the ideal mixture and the perfect harmony between wood and grappa. The result is Le Diciotto Lune Marzadro, a refined grappa for meditation.
